Atakulu Francisca Ogochukwu was born into the family of Late Mr./Mrs. Innocent Anaeto from Ifite Village, Aguluezechukwu, Aguata LGA, Anambra State, Nigeria on the 23rd March, 1968.
She had her primary education from 1974 to 1979 at Primary School, Ifite Village, Aguluezechukwu and her secondary education at the then Girls’ High School, Agulu, Anaocha LGA, Anambra State from 1980 to 1985. She started her Nursing carrier in Jos at School of Basic Midwifery, Our Lady of Apostles Hospital, Jos, Plateau State between 1987 to 1990 was registered as a Midwife in 1990. She proceeded to School of Nursing, University Teaching Hospital, Jos and was also registered as a Nurse in 1992. Worked at Our Lady of Apostles Hospital, Jos from 1993 till 2003. She worked in both Medical, Surgical and Maternity wards respectively where she headed those wards at that early age and also was teaching in School of Midwifery, O.L.A, 2 hours every day from the wards. Was moved finally to the school as her primary assignment in 2003 where she served as Clinical Instructor till 2004 when she was sent to University of Ibadan for both Midwifery Educational course and B. Sc Nursing. She graduated in 2009 and went back to the School of Midwifery, O. L. A Hospital, Jos.
Mrs. Atakulu relocated with her family due to the re-occurent crisis in Jos to Anambra State in April, 2010, started work immediately at the School of Basic Midwifery, St Joseph’s Hospital, Adazi-Nnukwu and was promoted as the Principal of the school in 2011. She worked assiduously and saw to the establishment of Nursing Department and moved the Schools to College of Nursing Sciences, St Joseph’s Hospital, Adazi-Nnukwu, Anaocha LGA, Anambra State.
She is happily married with children.
